It can be a mistake to allow solicitations on an internet forum. Many forums will not allow this. If you make such a post, you'll be warned about being banned if you do it again and the thread will be deleted. I have no quarrel with this policy. In a busy forum, someone will ultimately solicit donations for organizations that are a scam. Having said that, I believe that many of these solicitations are very worthwhile. When I discover a charity that I want to support, one of the ways I'll support it is to let others know about it.

I'm starting this thread hoping to keep these types of solicitations to a minimum and locating them in one thread. Non members are not welcome to come here solely for the purpose of soliciting donations. The only solicitations I'll allow will be ones coming from iSpine members who have a personal connection to the charity.
