Default Columbia University web site looks promising?

I just came across te Columbia University web site that talks all about how they love to do ADR AND that they have insurance specialists waiting to help you get insurance to cover your surgery. Has anyone called or been there? Insurance Columbia Neurosurgery

Won't it be great when we don't even have to discuss insurance issues any more?

Sadly, it still seems like a pipe-dream.

Thanks for the post... Please let us know how it goes when you contact them.

had my surgery there. all the bills have been submitted and all have been paid (the NS just submitted, so that has not yet been processed).

Even there was a doctor (neurologist for SEP monitoring) out of network that somehow got negotiated into the plan. they preauthorized everything. I called about 5 times before the surgery to make sure it was all set.

It actually went very smoothly!

This was for a covered procedure under my plan. Oxford does not currently approve cervical ADRs!! Glad I didn't have to agonize that decision on some level.
