Default Pain management doctor

I am new here, don't know if I'm posting in the right place. I am looking for a good, reliable pain management dr. in the Seattle area. I live about an hour and half away, and the only pain management available where I live is injection clinics. (Been there, done that). If anyone out there lives in this area, and knows of a good pain management doctor, I desperately need one! I had one referral from a foot/ankle specialist I've been seeing in Seattle, but when I checked her out on the internet, there were many negative posts about her. With the distance being such a factor, and my driving limitations, I can't afford to pick a bad doc! Any help would be a godsend! Thanks so much!

Hey BlueCanoe!

There may be more references, but a quick search of the words "pain seattle", yielded this post by JimM2

I Found an Awesome PM Doctor - Dr. Trescot

I'd try the same search on braintalk and some of the other forums

I highly recommend Dr. Trescot. I just saw a new PM doctor here in San Diego today and he knows of her and her work. She is well published and has made many innovations in PM but this is not the reason to see her. The real reason to see her is that she truly cares about her patients. She is at UW Pain Center. Good luck. Let us know how it goes.

Default Thank you

for the replies. I did check out Dr. Trescot; unfortunately she has moved to Harborview Medical Center, in the chronic fatigue clinic. I called there, and office hours were limited to Tues., Thurs., and for a few hours on Wednesdays. I did leave a message that if she were still dealing with chronic pain and upper neck injuries, to please get back to me. I guess I will wait to see if I hear back. Again, thanks for the info. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. P.S. I do post on BrainTalk Forums, but I stumbled upon this one. What other forums would you recommend?
