getting nerovus about the rhizotomy
 

having rhizotomy this thursday 1/13 and even though the facet injections worked there can be complications from the actual rhizotomy. i am going to do it no matter what. i can not continue to work with the pain level i am in. it has been a pretty good two weeks to say the least. :o

My mom has had lots of rhizotomies. The pain can be bad for a few weeks, but then she has several good months after that. I hope that will be the case for you.

To tell you to relax is a waste of time because I know the fear and anxiety that enters your brain, refusing to leave until after the procedure.

Concentrate on Friday. By Friday, it will all be behind you and you can deal with whatever you have to. Don't think about Thursday - and this weekend, - Thursday's nothing when it comes to Saturday and Sunday.
