Spine disc problems and physiotherapy?

Will physiotherapy really work for Spine disc problems? I am Monica from Mississauga. It is for my love I am writing here. He met with an accident and now he is in the recovery stage. My colleague suggested me about making him undergo physiotherapy ( Physiotherapy Treatments Mississauga, Burlington | Dynamic Physiotherapy ) for spine disc problem that he is having from Dynamic physiotherapy. His son had a problem of similar type and underwent a physiotherapy treatment from there. So he suggested me the same for my man. I don't know how far it would be helpful for my son. Will it really help my man in this situation or is there any other treatment solutions for my love?
Thanks in advance.

Hi Monica,
I don't know the specifics of your man's injuries.
From my own experience, I started physical therapy after my c5/c6 herniation and it greatly helped to alleviate pain and kept me mobile for seven years until things got unstable and I had surgery. Physical therapy also helped after artificial disk replacement in regaining strength.
I think the answer to your question would be yes, depending on the skill of the therapist. It is worth a try but only your man knows his body and can make a decision about its helpfulness.
