Cervical Fusion vs. ADR

...I appreciate any members input regarding opinions of going with Cervical Fusion or ADR surgery.

I am a 53 years old male, been diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease @C5-6 level. Had a failed laser surgery this past December in Florida. Recently told that I might need cervical fusion to solve my problem. Have continuous chronic spasms and stiffness in the neck. Your comments and experiences are appreciated:).

I have a 3 level cervical fusion (98) C 4-5-6-7 I have no way to compare really since I am fused and no choice at that time! I would say the spasms finally ended ( yes you never forget that stuff)after my fusion. I still have pain some days better then others I take pain meds every day and have been thru therapy for depression ! (it did help) always check every option out first .. fusion is major and once done ..... I had no problems with surgical stuff really ..just do what dr says and healed well! that said , I wish the best to you .... its something I still deal with daily. :) Kam
