Remember Linda? 2 x 2 ProDiscs

L4-S1 lumbar Prodisc at TBI, followed by 2-level ProDisc-C in Bogen. Good news, bad news. I just reconnected with her regarding the spiney water ski trip this summer.

Good new is that her existing 4 ADR's are doing great. Bad news is that she blew out L3-4 dealing with a 400 pound patient and is in the hospital recovering from a discectomy.

Even so, I could hear her indominatable spirit through the phone... I look forward to hearing of her great recovery as from the last surgeries and I hope to water ski with her late this summer (maybe if she recovers that fast!)

Please join me in welcoming Linda to iSpine and wishing her the speediest recovery.

Mark

Jeff.... she cedes her title as champion double-bionic to you. With your 2 x 3, plus Pauline's Activ-L thrown in... you sit atop the ADR world.

Welcome!

Hi Linda,
Great to hear you had such a stellar recovery w/cervical ADR and sorry to hear you blew out L4 lifting a patient.. I know how that goes since that was my fate long ago moving a patient from gurney to bed post op (L5S1)... and plenty of heavy full body lifts before that~ Moved on in Nursing career to FNP/Administrative work tho later on probs with L4 (two discectomies to date) and anular tear w/L3.

Currently ADR at L4 and fusion at L5S1 proposed. Chicken...

Best wishes for a speedy recovery w/discectomy and welcome to the forum! Maria
