Introducing paindoc.

Dear Friends,

It gives me great pleasure to introduce our newest member, paindoc. He is a pain management specialist from the east coast. Unfortunately, he also is a dyed-in-the-wool spine patient too.

I've asked him to come here occasionally to answer questions and he's agreed. He will not be available via private message or email. I'll not have him come for the frequently asked questions that the more experienced members can answer. But, when we have specific questions that he can shed some extra light on... It'll be great to have him as a resource.

Welcome paindoc!

Mark

Nice find Mark. I do have a question the next time he becomes available. I'm having some trouble negotiating the FAQs and was wondering if Lyrica can provide the same relief that 2700mg of Neurontin provided.

I switched because of the side effects and am still adjusting the dosage but how high should I go. My own 'paindoc' is working with me but right now, I'm still uncomfortable.

So the next time you speak to him, you might inquire as the the similarities and/or differences in the two nerve meds.

Thanks, Dale

Welcome Paindoc

Mark and paindoc,
thank you both~ pain management has saved my arse to date~ and allowed me to live at least as functionally as I have since 2001 so I'm very pleased we will have input from a specialist in this area as well as surgical/other information presented. ;)

Thanks for your help!

I'm so glad that you've decided to donate your time to us! Wonderful docs like you have really given me quality of life as I've fought this problem. It's great to have access to someone who will answer small questions that come up between appointments. Thanks again!!!:)
