Cervical Foraminotomy

Has anyone had this surgery? Does anyone know if this surgery would rule out ADR in the future?

My surgeon is proposing this surgery at two levels and is saying that it is minimally invasive.

Doreen, QueenOfHearts has had a successful cervical foraminotomy. Contact me off the forum and I'll put you in touch.

Giving up future options may depend upon how much bone they remove and other pathology that may already be marginal contraindications.

I know people who've had to be fused after they discovered that their MISS was not really so minimal (and didn't work). However, if you are going to a surgeon who looks to the future and understands ADR... I would hope that this would not be an issue. Are you dealing with someone who also does ADR?
