Mark,

I can't wait to hear what is to come in the future. Innovation is a major key to overcoming this and other diseases.

I don't get to hang out on the web site for long - but I do check in frequently.

I hope that they will also showcase some new tissue regeneration technologies.....

Internet down in my room so I can't update the blog now... much to write about today, including disc transplant paper.

I neglected to post a link to the blog

Wow, this new approach is interesting:

Awk, it seems that one level must be fused.

Allan... I don't know why you say one level must be fused. I wrote about this on the NASS blog yesterday... very exciting technology... the concept is great, the hardware looks good, but it's still very early... no human implantations until Q2 or later next year.

No requirement for fusion... just the need for disc replacement and expendable facets... maybe facets too bad for ADR???

Disc transplantation paper was incredible... brief blurb on the blog. Gotta get some sleep.. (7:30 start times!) More tomorrow if I can get on the internet after NASS is over and before flight.

Default Wow!!!!

Hey Mark,
disc transplantation sounds incredible!

Question re Nsaids after ADR ~ if one cannot take them, what would the surgeon prescribe post op (esp. if thinks that this has anything to do with prevention of HO) or perhaps some choice of Nsaid and medication to prevent gut probs/further gut probs?

I still kinda miss those Neurosurgical days at UCSF painful as they were re my spine.. the learning was incredible~ sounds like you're having a learning curve blast plus all the mix of great minds you're hooking up with!

This corner of the spine community thanks you much for attending and blogging!!!

take care and get some sleep!!!

Thanks Mark for clarifying; not good at speed reading.

This sounds perfect for me given "moderate" facet degeneration.
