"Severe" intraforaminal stenosis

I have this on two levels.

Does this mean that surgery is a must? My sense is that if no surgery, the osteophytes could "bite" on the nerve and cause permanent damage. As I have facet arthrosis, I guess fusion's maybe the best option. Will see Regan in a few days.

So my question is that if "severe", is surgery a *must* sooner than later?

Weird, I'm in pain but functional and can sit with meds.

Thanks, Allan

Have you debriefed the new finding with your doc?

Same questions as before the findings....

1. Am I bad enough to justify surgery?
2. Do I have any resonable expectation that things will get better without surgical intervention?
3. Do I have options now that I'll give up by waiting / how serious is the risk of more permanent damage from waiting.

Thank you Mark for these 3 killer questions (Occam's Razor). Be well - Allan
