Has anyone done their lumbar discectomy surgery using the METRx™ System?

Also how about this article - http://www.spineuniverse.com/display...ticle1419.html
Has anyone gone to this doctor - Anthony T. Yeung and done Selective Endoscopic Discectomy™ (SED) surgery?

thanks.

What few doctors will tell you is that a discectomy, while providing relief, weakens the disc and creates excess pressure of the adjacent discs. If future surgeries are required, which occurs often, their chances for success are diminished. DDD can literally crawl up (or down) your spine. Should you then desire an adr, it's chance of success is also diminished since it's pain relieving effectiveness is best achieved on a virgin spine.

However, as stated previously, you should talk to Mark. He's really the goto guy.

Good luck, Dale

Tired,

I can't follow those links, but I know Dr. Yeung well. I have been to his facility several times and have seen him and his colleagues do many surgeries. I knew about Dr. Yeung when I was going for my second discectomy... but I didn't know about the differences between his procedure and what everyone else offers. Knowing what I know now, if I could go back and redo my surgeries, I'd look very closely at SED.

I had SED by Dr. Yeung. Best operation of my life..and the only procedure that ever helped with my pain.

He is the best Dr I have ever known.
