I booked in here for tonight because that is where my clients are staying. I don't think that ATOS clinic patients will typically stay near the train station, but you never know. The Sheraton is getting more and more expensive... now > 150 Euro discounted rate. (You can sometimes get weekend deals for under 100k, but it's pretty spotty.)

In any case, across the street from the hauptbahnhoff (main train station) is this beautiful hotel. I've not had great experiences with hotels in this area, but this is nice and reasonably priced. It does not have an ounce of train station area dive hotel feel to it. It's a beautiful old hotel that is in great shape, nice artwork everywhere, clean, charming, nice rooms, etc...

I'm paying internet rate of 115 Euro, but it is VERY high season here with Oktoberfest about to start.

Again... not all that convenient to AK, but if you need to spend a night or 3 in Munich... this is a decent option.

PS... I booked through expedia.com... it was cheaper than anything else I could find. I normally book airlines through orbitz.
