Straubing Restaurant - Cafe Valentino
 

Cafe Valentino is located on the main square in straubing opposite the Theresientor and half a block down. At night it's a lively bar and restaurant with the locals. You're likely to run into one of your nurses or physical therapists. It's one of my favorite places for a good salad. and of course the beer is excellent. I don't think its possible to get bad beer in Germany. If the weather is nice, it's very pleasant to sit outside and have an iced coffee. In the evening try to get a table by the window for a surreal view of the square. Prices are reasonable.

Yes, we had several meals at Cafe Valentino. Excellent Mozzerella and Tomato Sandwiches. I think they are called toasts on the menu.
