A lot of people with pain issues describe themselve as unstable or difficult to hold up because when the do anything that loads off balance, their pain increases so much.

Some people with 'swan neck' literally can't hold thier head up. (Picture old person walking with face towards ground. I've seen this following laminectomy that destabilizes so much, the spine collapses forward in this way. Hopefully, that is not what you are talking about.

Can you describe in more detail?
