Default it's called an artifact

i have titanium and even though it's an mri safe material because it's not a true metal, it can still cause some dark shadows called artifacts. you will want to keep the mri at 1.5 tesla. anything stronger will make this worse. the only reason to carry a medical id card would be if the metal was true magnetic metal because an mri would rip it right out. my titanium plate, screws, and stand alone peek cage are all safe for mris. if not you they could do ct scans.
