Post Baffled

Thanks for your replays Maria,mm global
The reason for query 2years ago I had to sit on the back metal carrier of a quad bike for 3 hours in rough terrain way out bush due to a vehicle breakdown and as a result obtained a work place injury. Initially the back of both my legs were sore down to the back of my knees I went to the doctor and he said there was no damage and they were just sore from the ordeal and would get better..
As time went by they began to ache more and it became really painfully to sit.
I returned to the doctor several more times over a 2 year period and as the pain kept increasing and he believed I had tendinitis
During this period I had no pain in my back and continued working . In frustration with the ever increasing pain I went to another doctor who wondered why no X-rays, MRI had not been done or why I hadn't seen a specialist. He sent me to a specialist who immediately said the leg pain was coming from my back. He examined me and I still had no back pain and could move with no problems at all . He got an MRI done which showed a slight disk bulge l5s1 but nothing out of the ordinary.I was then referred to a spinal clinic who tried epidural injections with no succsess. The spinal clinic then did a disco gram which revealed a central posterior fissure of l5 s 1 disk and the nuerosurgeon has now recommended a spinal fusion. Since the discogram I not only have the terrible leg pain but now back pain as well . I am not at work at the moment and are doing Pilates pain management and pool therapy to avoid surgery. My employer and it's insurance company are pushing hard for surgery . The leg pain is woeful and back pain not good however movement in my back is still great. I am on slow release oxy contin, anti depressant and lyrica
I don't want surgery and believe the whole situation has been handled badly
Any thoughts or help would be most welcome
Cheers bonny.
