Wow. Thanks so much for writing so extensively on what Diane went through. I see a lot of similarities in my own experience. Though I don't have a herniation, and haven't had any surgeries. My pain has been 80/20 leg/back. Right after the discogram I had severe leg pains, and increased numbness and tingling. But now, about a month and a half after the discogram, my back pain is increasing a lot whereas the hip and leg pain are barely noticeable.

My discogram showed concordant pain with L4-5 and L5-S1. And much of what you describe, really has me wanting 2 level ADR (instead of hybrid surgery). And I think it is in my best interest to have it soon, to try and keep L3-4 from deteriorating. I read Diane's surgery thread, and her recovery seemed incredible. I am convinced that mine would be similar , I can hope can't I?
