Hi Kathy,
I truly hope that this surgery helps with your pain. I will be thinking of you. Ditto on the raised toilet seat. I think the hospital will give you a walker but that is also helpful for the first week. I actually keep several grabbers around because I am either dropping one or forget to take it downstairs with me. I also agree about having some help for awhile. Take it easy after surgery as you will still have pain for awhile after the surgery and the recovery can be up and down. Good luck and I wish you the best, you are a real trouper and it paid off.
