Scoliosis at age 12. Surgery with Harrington Rods and bone grafts form my hips @ University Rochester Medical Center. In the hospital for 1 very long month. I went home with a walking cast. I had a very high 67 degree scoliosis angle. I was rodded from T1 to L1. This was in 1975. In 1998 I was rushing around and tripped and fell head first into a book shelf. I caught my chin on the chin, it snapped my head straight back. This incident caused a head injury and a need for a C5-C6, C6-C7 discectomy. In 2003 I was moving a patient up on a stretcher with help, and the brakes didn't hold and my lower back was twisted. So after 7 months of trying everything I had surgery. L4-L5 Micro Laminectomy/Foraminotomy. 2005 I was working as an Occupational Nurse and was having problems with my hands and heaviness in my shoulders, pain in my neck. 10/2005 I had a C5-C6 fusion. I am no longer able to work. I am now on SSD :(
