Rentheads?

If there are any Rentheads out there... there is a current tour with the original members playing Mark and Roger.

If you didn't camp out for the first 2 rows free for so many years, you might not know about it.

A little Rent trivia.... speaking of chest pain, the author... after working on it as a starving artist for more than a decade, died hours after the last dress rehearsal... the day before it opened on Broadway.

If you haven't seen rent and like musical theatre, get the movie.... it's a wonderful adaptation of the play. If you are into it... watch the special features disc.

I completely and totally loved the movie!! How was it at the theater? I'm sure absolutely incredible, wonderful, moving and joyful!

I've seen Rent several times... both in NY and the traveling show. This was, by far, the best production I've seen. Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp, the original Roger and Mark, were excellent. They made the rolls in both the play and the movie and were soooo much better than anyone else I've seen. The acoustics at the Pantages are also much better than the othe venues.

If you've never seen it, get the movie... get the soundtrack (movie is better than the play.)
