Default Father died last night

Hi all,

My father died last night. I'm in shock. I also found out that I have a half brother I didn't know about. I googled him and wrote to him. I just feel overwhelmed today. Akkkk. D.

D,

It is a sad day when losing someone you love. There are really no words of comfort other than I'm sorry.

Discovering a half brother could ultimately prove positive in your life. Here's hoping.

My thoughts are with you, Dale

I am so sorry. Sounds like it was definitely sudden. I agree. The half-brother discovery could be a real blessing.

You have my deepest regrets as well,

Cindylou

Default re your father

D,
So sorry to hear this esp. if you weren't expecting it. My condolences to you and your family. I hope meeting your half brother is an OK thing and of some support to you if not now, eventually.

There really are no words at this time that are adequate so I'm sending along a cyber hug ~ Maria

My sincerest condolences for your sudden and big loss.
You are the second person I've heard of who discovered a half-sibling after a parent's death and my husband and I both found out previously unknown things about our parents--it just makes the loss harder because you realize that there were conversations that will never be held.
Be well.
