			 Fusions can limit movement, especially multi-level.  You should also be aware that multi-level fusions in the lumber spine is often contra-indicated.  It puts enormous pressure on adjacent segments, often leading to degeneration of those segments with DDD crawling up your spine.  I've also read many a post about the screws loosening necessatating surgical intervention.  However, insurance companies in their infinite wisdom, pay for this surgery.  Whoopie!
