Thumbs up Natural Ant inflammatory

Hi...my name is Paulette and I am addicted to ant-inflammitories... For years, even before my accident, I have taken a high dose of ibuprofen 200mg-800mg 2-3X/day. While at the health food store I ran across Zyflamend by New Chapter. It includes proprietary extracts of rosemary, turmeric, ginger, holy basil, green tea, hu zhang, Chinese goldthread, barberry, oregano, and Baikal skullcap. I have been taking it for about 3 months now and have been able to get off the ibuprofen. I take 2 capsules 3X a day and feel so much better after taking them. I love this stuff and just had to share. It seems to have more benefits then just helping with inflammation. Anyone else out there tried this or any other natural remedies that have helped their recovery or symptems?

Hey Paulette, thanks for posting.

I still take anti-inflammatories at 4 years post-op. I have a numb spot on the bottom of my foot that gets bigger and I get some low-grade foot pain when I stop. I loved Bextra, but they took it off the market. Since then, I've been taking Voltaren. I don't have any gastric issue and it works well for me. However, I've developed tinitus. I don't think it's related, but since there is a possibility, I've stopped taking it and am just trying to get used to these mild symptoms. I may try your baikal skulls if I feel like I need something.

Please explain... what is a baikal?

Mark

Default Skullcap

Mark,

Skullcap is the herb of a member of the mint family from rich woods and moist soils in eastern North America. Another commonly used species is Baikal skullcap, (S. baicalensis), the root of which is the Chinese drug huang-qin. It is found in sandy fields in northeast China and adjacent Russia and in the mountains of southwest China.

So it is an herb not a skull you can read more here its is a beautiful herb wonder if it will grow at 7000 feet?

Default Hurb

Herbs are grown in the grown not from your head. So yes I am sure it is an hurb and not a skull.

New Chapter is a great brand of dietary supplements because they are all organic. So don't panic it's organic.
