i'm a old fart and my back is even older and from what i am am learning by living it sooner is a better option with adr. as the reasoning behind this the less disc height lost at the time of surgery means a easier recovery because of distraction pains. more height change made durning surgey means more pissed off nerves. just my 2 cents chuck
