I'm not so worried about the type of food that is available, in fact I am hoping that I will be able to enjoy a good amount of German delights. It's more the cost of eating "prepared" foods, as compared to the cost of foods you can buy in a grocery store and prepare yourself.

My boyfriend is also a night owl, though I don't know what that will mean with the time difference. So, he would like to have food available in the middle of the night (not unusual for him).

But let's put it this way, this is not high on my list of priorities right now. He will have to deal with it, whatever the situation.

Two years ago, no fridges. Maybe different now?

So what about the mini-bar? Is it refrigerated, so you could take their food out and put your own in? I imagine even if it is, it's probably pretty small. We can always ask when we get there.

I think my boyfriend is resigned to accepting whatever the situation.

Is the food, in the cafe's and restaurants around town, reasonably priced?
