Question "clicking" noise in my back

I'm hearing a "clicking" sound in my lower back the past 2 days. Yesterday my back really hurt. Today it feels better, but I still heard the clicking: both times it was in the morning at about 10am.
Is this COMMON?
I'm 2 months post-op, 2 level ADR.

Is it one click that you can't reproduce? Is it something you can make happen? I have heard some people report clicking, but it's hard for me to imagine how it happens. Do you perceive that it is a metal sound?

Besides the last few days, how have you been? Is the pain you are reporting the last few days, just a bad day or is it new pain?

My Prodisc adr's in my neck are clicking and it drives me up the wall sometimes. On freeways with xpansion joints it goes clicketyclicketyclickety... holding head slightly forward reduces the amount of click. I have been told that as long as no one on the "outside" can hear it then it is normal.

My Active-L is silent.
