After a botched spinal tap where my L4/L5 disc exploded i underwent a laminectomy in 1979, and ran from spinal surgery ever since, then in 2002 i met DrDelamarter in Santa Monica- and my life as i knew it changed dramatically, I consider myself the "ProdiscPosterBoy" I am in the US Trials and one of the first in California to recieve 2 Lumbar Prodiscs, nomorepain-nomoremeds Last edited by nomorepain; 01-24-2012 at 06:28 AM.

Gary,
You are so incredibly right about "worst fear" ... for a long time I hardly drove as I was so fearful of being rear ended .. that was mostly when my back was much worse pain wise. However I have given up freeway driving (where that is probably less likely to happen)~ anyway I'm so sorry to read this has happened and put you back into a world of hurt! That's awful!!!!! And also sorry to read about your car tho way more so you!!!! Hope you'll heal well w/no invasive intervention... please keep us posted.
