Don't know, but I'll add it to my page-long list of ???s for my post-op visit on the 31st. Thanks for thinking of it!! I would personally think that it would be worse to get the flu, but then again, I didn't think pre-dental antibiotics were necessary, so what do I know?

I haven't heard of any problems nor am I aware of them with getting the flu shot.

Perhaps something to ask the pharmacist.

The pneumonia shot works well too to prevent illnesses like this.

I'm seeing Dr. Lauryssen on Monday (if he doesn't cancel again) and I'll ask him.

Thumbs up

I saw Dr. L this morning and he said there is nothing to worry about. So let's get a little peace of mind if nothing else.

Wishing no flu visit your doorsteps,
Dale

FYI, I received a flu shot from my PCP last week I am 2 years post op ADR times two. No worries. More issues going to the dentist it seems and getting a load of antibodtics in your system.

MrBee
Ps: everyone else got the flu but me..so kudos for the shot and my PCP, he req'd it to me as I am near half a century, lol
