![]() HI,
Well I had the DASCOR surgery Feb 1st of 2007. I will honestly say my pain is about 85% better. Which to me, is a huge improvement. My only pain now is my SI joint, so its kinda hard to say I am pain free from the surgery. I have a feeling if my SI joint didn't hurt... i would be completely pain free!!!! The only time i have pain in my right leg, is when i am on my feet too long or sit too long... but i know my limits. I have a backtivator I sit on, and it has brought me so much relief from pain. The recovery from the surgery wasn't too bad. I was out of work for 2 years, and now I am working full time. I am a nurse, and doing well. I don't think I will be going back to 12 hour shifts...but 8 hours I tolerate well, and no lifting ever again over 35 pounds. I am overall pleased with my surgery. I would do it again. I only keep in contact with about 3 others who had it, one had to be replaced, and the others are fine. If you have any questions... I am a open book ![]() Good luck!! Melissa
