Default Prodisc C5/C6 4 year

My 4 yr xrays are in! All considered, I am grateful for where I am at. I am working full time and then some. I do probably need one or two more adr's. I hope to wait until next summer. I have been through so much in the last 5 years. The feeling I have is that I would just like to go for a while with no medical treatment taking over my life. I am still MUCH better than I was before ADR and hope to stay that way.

Hi Jessica, thanks for posting. Wow, the idea of spending a year without one medical ordeal after another... sounds great!

What was the condition of C6-7 back when you had your surgery?

All the best,

Mark

Jessica,

Glad you're doing well and here it is, the big BUT!

Aside from your series of mini-strokes, as we age, and I don't know if you fit into this catagory, our bodies let us know faster than a geometrical progression. A year without some kind of medical catastrophe doesn't fit into the master plan anymore.

Adding insult to injury, I now understand how people can tell when the weather is changing . Sad but true.

Here's hoping your wish of a year off comes true!

Dale

Mark,
Regarding condition of C6/7 prior to ADR. Discography was not done prior to ADR C5/C6, so all I can say is the symptons that were duplicated with discography are the same post op, as they were pre-op. The adr improved my neck range of motion and some radicular symptoms. I can support the weight of my head full time, just still radicular that were confirmed to C6/C7 in discography.

Dale,
With all of my problems, I still feel amazingly young and energetic. Sometimes I forget that I am really screwed up! Lol.
