Default re surgery

Hi Felly,
Welcome! What surgery are you contemplating? What type of problem do you have? Have you had diagnostics done like an MRI or CT scan yet? Have you seen a surgeon yet and been recommended to have spine surgery?

Most people have spine surgery due to severe prolonged pain or dysfunction of some type, or neurological defecits. Each person is very individual as to when they reach the decision to have surgery and what type of surgery (esp if more than one type offered).

I think this thread may get moved because I believe this part of the forum is for actual surgical results (or persons that have had surgery or are scheduled to have surgery). Either way please write again if you are so inclined.

Maria

There are some situations where you can avoid surgery. If your appendix is inflamed and about to rupture. In this situation, surgery is the only treatment. The same as for badly broken bones and medical emergencies. Leave emergencies, most of patients benefit from starting with the least invasive treatment and only having surgery as a last resort.

Hi, You would like to know when do we get surgery.. I live in Canada, and we have medical system is not all that. I was told, they will not send me to surgery, just to put up with the pain, take my meds and have injections. I am feed-up with my pain, that has been going on three years in August 2015. I got feed-up with we can not do anything for you, so, I sent my MRI to the Back Institute in the US and was informed that they can perform an non-invasive discectomy. I would say, get surgery when you are ready. I am willing and trying to get my life back at any cost. I say, go with your gut feeling.

Impotence is an ongoing inability to achieve or maintain an erection sufficient for sexual intercourse. Your likelihood of being affected increases with age. There are several medical causes for impotence, including diabetes, multiple sclerosis and previous surgery in the pelvic region (for example having your prostate gland removed). Certain medicines including beta-blockers and some diuretics can also be responsible for causing impotence.

Smoking causes your arteries to get furred up with fatty deposits. This reduces blood flow to your penis, increasing your risk of impotence. Psychological problems including anxiety and depression can cause problems with getting an erection.

Many men are reluctant to talk about impotence but it can often be effectively treated. A range of treatment options is available including psychotherapy, prescription medicines and devices. The medicines viagra online, vardenafil and tadalafil are highly effective in treating some forms of impotence. However, these medicines aren't suitable for everyone and can have serious side-effects, so it's important that you see your GP before taking them.

Default re when to get spine surgery

wow how did this topic turn into some of the stuff that's in the last few replies? This is a spine forum so questions that are asked should be pertaining to spine related surgery and treatments. Answers should also be with regard to that as well. If you're advertising you are in the wrong place as well as if you are replying with regard to something other than spine related topics, surgery, treatment etc.

Sorry felly if you've been checking back for replies.

I agree with that, it is a spine forum and you can't turn this in to sexual disorders. So please stop posting anything which does not belong to the post. If you want to discuss about the erectile dysfunction then you should start new topic for that, in the right category.
You need to choose reproductive or men health section to discuss about the erection difficulties and medicine like Viagra generic used for the treatment.
