Judy,

I'm from the school of listen to your body. With school, and still only 2 months post op, you should be kinder to yourself.

Without meds, you are in pain. For me, the guideline isn't how I feel with meds, though they allow me to do what I must, it's more how I feel without them. Your body needs more time without the 2am getting home. If pushing yourself contributed to your healing, then by all means, push, but from where I sit, it seems to slow it down so my vote - keep it simple.

Maria, wish I could walk - my leg won't have too much of anything. L2/3 doesn't like me very much right now and with other things going on in my life, I feel a little depression coming on. I think walking would help, it helps clear my mind but it is what it is.
