Mark, I told Dr. Bitan that you said hello and he asked me how I knew you. I told him about your website here & he said "well tell him I said hello as well". Ahhh a man of very few words.....  The airports were definitely interesting. There's nothing like getting your hands & bone growth stimulator swabbed with paper to see if you have bomb residue on either of them. The airport in Tampa had this huge tube thing that I stepped in which did a scan like a C/T scan. That was pretty cool. It's amazing to see just how far we've come in technology to try & protect our country from terrorism. Anyway, I'll post my 6 week post-up follow up in my surgery thread soon. There have been some changes. Some good, some bad.  Karin

re the airport check in Tampa
Karin,
I had to go thru that as well tho I was told I was *randomly chosen* to go thru it and then searched. Hmmm.. I still think it was my 3 seat plane tickets for myself that triggered randomly choosing me. Oh well it was nothing and I didn't really care. I like the Tampa airport very much because it's quite easy to get around in and people are helpful there~ besides the fact I fly in and out there about twice a year or so I'm familiar with the a/p. Now my father says it's getting hot there so it must be pretty nice. After April/May the weather turns hot and moving into beastly humidity in the summer time so you timed your trip *just right*! Hope you stay warm now!
