Surgery time bumped up to 4 hours earlier

We were at our friend's funeral all afternoon and evening last night, so it wasn't until this morning I was able to return the call to the surgery center about a few details they needed to tell me. Glad I did, since my surgery has been bumped up to 9 am instead of 1 pm on Monday! Now we'll hit the morning rush hour traffic over there, but at least we can take the "sane" lane with 2 of us in the car.

Hopefully, Mark will see this message too.

Oh good, the earlier the better! You won't have as much time to fret and since you're probably the first or second surgery of the day, it's more likely that your surgery will start on time. Good luck.

You have traffic in Minnesota?
It is better to have surgery in the morning. It has been found that surgeons perform better in the morning.

Hey, the earlier the better. Look at it this way, by the time you were scheduled for surgery, it will all be over and you'll be on the other side

And traffic, sorry but you get no sympathy from us San Diego fwy people or the 10 or 5 or... We often call our freeways - a parking lot

Just think of that precious granddaughter and how playing with her will soon be possible. You'll do great.
