Larry, I'm still trying to confirm the cause of my sciatica which was not shown on numerous MRI's I've had over several years. They finally did a myleogram and found a nerve compression, but I still don't know if it is causing the pain. I still could have another pain generator. I suggest you ask the surgeon if the myleogram could be helpful in the diagnosis. Hope this helps. Steve
