Default One more off topic a bit.

Right in the middle of my PT regime, I am having a deviated septum repaired as well as the ole tonsils and adenoids are coming out. This should help me breath better and most important sleep better for better recovery in all aspects of life.

I'll be under the knife by 08:00 and should be home by noon.

3 epidurals / 2 nerve root injection / 6 weeks of PT

8/01/2008 L4-S1 Posterior Spinal fusion only, using the PEEK ROD system. No Vertebral spacer and disc is still there. So is the pain!!!!

4 More weeks of PT and things are worse now than before.
I must train again.

Every cloud has a silver lining. Ice cream with no guilt! Yum!!!

But then again, I guess that means no turkey

Hey, as far as health problems go, this one isn't too bad and I hope you don't suffer too much. Wishing you a speedy recovery... Dale

UGH!!!!!!

It's over and the only thing that will make me happier is a full recovery. Constant congestion, sore throat and nothing tastes as bad as liquid percocet. LOL

Actually it's not as bad as I was told. Yes basically just water the first day, but I made sure I did not skip a beat of meds and I am drinking plenty of water. In fact, I'm only sleeping in 2 hour shifts to make sure I get the meds and keep everything hydrated. I really do think that's the trick to it. In fact I was even able to have some smashed taters and some small amounts of turkey.

Something I should have had done 20 years ago.
