Took a good fall on my bike today.

I'd like to say a bad fall, but I think a bad fall is when you shatter your elbow... not just scrape it up a bit.

It's funny because I've moved into some commercial office space that's a 3-minute car ride a 10 minute bike ride from my house. I've been talking about biking to work for a long time and it's finally a reality... today was the first day that I didn't have a bunch of stuff to bring or appointments that I'd need my car for. Thankfully, I left my laptop at the office or it would have been in the basket on the bike.

Apparently, I picked up some glass that punctured the tire and tube. I stopped at an ATM and when I got back on the bike... a couple of pedals across the parking lot and a little turn found me on my face on the concrete. I don't think there is a serious injury... just a few scrapes and a brand-new pair of jeans ruined. For the first few hours, I felt fine. I'm getting pretty stiff and sore, but I'm not expecting it to be too bad.
