Weak Dollar!!!
It's time to pay for Diane's surgery and the dollar is in the toilet.
It's 1.57 and some change now... it's gone as high as $1.5901 It's such a bummer to watch money evaporate! Mark

OK... For those who went to Europe for surgery, what did you have to pay for Euros? Give your surgery date too!

Martial arts for 25 years Full contact MMA 7 years Body building last 7 years (no Problems) 4-07 Fall down step holding daughter 5-07 L5-S1 buldge MRI 9-07 L5-S1 herniation W/DDD and annular tear MRI 3 epidurals / 2 nerve root injection / 6 weeks of PT 8/01/2008 L4-S1 Posterior Spinal fusion only, using the PEEK ROD system. Global market probs
Hey Mark,
For awhile now I've been thinking just the same thing as you mentioned and again kicking myself in the butt for not having done something back when the dollar was stronger tho oh well~ what's a body to do? Just hang in there I guess and hope that there's going to be some light at the end of this depressed dollar tunnel (read the global market plummeted over the weekend). Might be a long haul tho. Are you leaving this week or are you guys already over there?

Have you looked into the possibility of surgery in Oz? Our dollar is not that different to yours at the moment and it's a wonderful country to recuperate in
 .I could give you some names of some Neurosurgeons. Hucky

MVA April 2003 - Whiplash C6/7, MRI shows large right paracentral disc protrusion with extension centrally. Mild compression of cervical cord and obscuring the neural foramen and exiting nerve root. No uncinate process hypertrophy no facet joint degeneration. no left neural foramina narrowing. 1200mg of Neurontin. In the last 3 years have seen 1 gen surg, 2 neurosurg and 1 ortho surg. All rec fusion, only 1 recommends ADR or fusion. Have been off Neurontin since Nov 2006

Had to take a loan on the house
I pd. 30,990 Euros which was 46K through Etrade. Sucks.
 Of course that didn't include hotel, food etc. Another 2500K. And airfare.
