I'm sorry to say that Familie Hecht will be leaving the am Platzl in May. They will be moving to the Roemerhof in Straubing. We'll miss them in Bogen! I hope the new proprieters will be as friendly and cariing as are Mr. and Mrs. Hecht.

When I was here last year, I left a stack of books and Mrs. Hecht agreed to keep a shelf for them to provide a lending library for the spine patients and families. I wasn't sure how it would work out and I never got around to posting about it.
I'm glad to say that the library is still here, but all of the original books have gone! That is the way it's supposed to work... take a book if you need one... leave a book or two as you finish them. Mark
