congrats on your 14 mo. mark
I'm glad to hear that you had a wonderful experience at Stenum with the surgeon of your choice and that your recovery has been successful.
This is the perfect outcome everyone hopes for and you were fortunate enough to have! Congrats!!! |

It's been 16 months since my successful two level ADR surgery by Dr. Ritter-Lang at Stenum Hospital.
Dr. John Burkus of the Hughston Clinic released me completely at the first of March. I have nearly no lingering issues other than faint pain similar to the pre-operative pain I experienced. This only occurs after heavy exertion and doesn't last longer than a few hours. I'm able to work the 10 hour days without any discomfort or pain. My energy level is back to where it was before this ordeal began. I wanted to express my appreciation to all of those that gave me positive advice and encouragement from this forum. Bob

Great news Bob!
How is your wife doing... didn't she have surgery around the same time you did? All the best. Mark

Thank you Dale. I didn't expect to be at this point this soon.
My wife still hasn't had any type of surgery. Her symptoms abated (for now). My company changed to Blue Cross this year so she'll be better off as they view cervical procedures in a better light than lumbar. I work for the leading US truck manufacturer. I've been in a variety of departments from sales to sales engineering (and back again).
