Anuju62 (did I get that right?), just so you know, I posted that thread on "a sore throat coming on" 4 years ago! If you are new to this community, that's probably why you didn't notice that small detail.  Anyway, sounds like you have a good plan in place that works for you when you feel a sore throat coming on. My Dad was a big proponent of gargling w the warm salt water, and I agree w you too, I think it really helps. CL
