Lidoderm patches - experiences???

Ive used them on and off for a few years prior to this last surgery. I found them effective on light to medium muscle type pain, and spasms. If it was deep muscle or nerve pain they were no very useful. I used them mainly on my lower lumbar. 2 to 3 patches at a time. They did seem to give me a couple extra hours of comfort.
